Technical Support Specialist
About the position

We are looking for a talented Field/System Engineer to join our team. If you have great system understanding, enjoy working closely with customers, implementing and supporting system deployments, with a focus on bridging between our R&D team and our customers worldwide this is a great role for you! You will be playing a significant role in EcoPlant’s growth with its customers worldwide.

Your TOP daily activities will be:
  • Act as a technical lead to our partners in implementations at customer sites worldwide
  • Support and maintain deployments at customer site or remotely
  • Act as Tier 3 support and tech lead to our partners and customers
  • Work closely with our R&D team to:
  • Resolve customer driven issues
  • Perform System and sanity tests
  • Establish required environments
  • Developing new Protocols and Integrations
  • Work closely with our Product team to reflect field driven feedback
  • Train our partners and customers on:
  • Operating our EcoLive platform
  • Driving results and energy saving from the EcoLive platform
  • Installing, configuring and optimizing our deployments
  • Tier 1 + 2 Troubleshooting

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • At least two years of experience in a support / field engineer / application technical lead position
  • Proven experience in PLC's, RTU configuration and programing - an advantage
  • Proven knowledge working with the industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus, ProfiBus) – an advantage
  • Ability to integrate Sensor with Monitoring and Control systems - highly preferred
  • Knowledge with Linux, Bash scripts is an advantage
  • Knowledge with network systems
  • Excellent English - a must
